Bayern Munich set to hijack French defender Dayot Upamecano from Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspurs in the summer, according to reports in Germany.
The 21-year-old RB Leipzig highly-sought-after center back has had long-term admirers from all over Europe for over a year now and Bundesliga league leaders are the next footballing giant to declare an interest in him.
According to Bild claim that Bayern is prepared to meet Upamecano £50m releases clues end of the season despite the current rivalry between the two clubs but the Bavarian facing stern competition for the defender from other big European clubs from Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs for the signature of French star.
Upamecano has 18 months remaining of his current contract at Red Bull Arena but RB Leipzig are running the risk of losing the Bissau-Guinean descent on a free should they fail to re-negotiate a new contract with the player.
Having starred for the Bundesliga side since January 2017, Upamecano has featured 75 times for RB Leipzig and scored three goals in the process but he is expected to move to a bigger club at the end of this season.
