NFF top target Cyriel Dessers gets Nigerian passport ahead of Super Eagles call up for next month’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone clash at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.

The 24-year-old Dutch league’s top goalscorer, who was born in Leuven to a Belgian father and qualifies for Nigeria through his mother, committed his international allegiance to the West African nation in December.

According to Het Belang van Limburg claim that Dessers has gotten his Nigerian green passport Tuesday and he can now travel down to the country should Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr extend an invitation to the Heracles striker.

The Belgium-born star could make his debut on March 27 for three Africa Champions in Asaba against Sierra Leone.

Dessers has represented Belgium at youth level is the Eredivisie leading scorer with 15 goals after scoring the match-winner against Ajax.
