Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has reacted after scoring his first-ever La Liga goal as Leganes pull off a dramatic comeback win to beat Real Sociedad 2-1 in their La Liga clash at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Sunday afternoon.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international as handed his 15th league appearance this season, pairing his compatriot Chidozie Awaziem at the heart of Javier Aguirre’s men defence as Leganes return to winning ways after suffering a heavy 5-0 defeat to Barcelona last time out.

Alexander Isak opened the scoring for Real Sociedad in the first half of the encounter before Omeruo equalises for Leganes in the 49th minute as Oscar scored the winner at the death of the match to help the home side to clinch their fourth win of the season in front of their own fans.

However, Super Eagles center-back Omeruo took to his social media to celebrate his first goal for Leganes and La Liga.

Despite the victory, Leganes still remain in the bottom three of the league table with 18 points from 22 games but take on in their next La Liga Levante on
