Super Eagles star Joe Aribo scored a wonder goal in Rangers remarkable 3-2 comeback win over Sporting Braga in Europa League round of 32 at the Ibrox Stadium on Thursday night.

The Portuguese outfit raced into the lead through efforts from Fransergio and Abel Ruiz before Ianis Hagi reduced the deficit in the 67th minute.

Aribo, who was brought on for Glen Kamara in the 54th minute then inspired his side to victory, leveling proceedings 18 minutes after his introduction with a sensation as he was instrumental in the turnaround before Hagi’s deflected free-kick capped the comeback and gave his side the advantage ahead of next week’s second leg Municipal Stadium.

The 23-year-old Super Eagles attacking midfielder moved to Scotland last summer, and he is enjoying a fine debut campaign at Rangers with eight goals in 37 matches across all competitions so far.

Aribo and Rangers will travel to Portugal for the return fixture against Braga on Wednesday, after Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash against St. Johnstone.
