Ramos is close to twilight of his career due to his age and the captain is over 30-year-old with the club policy saying that any player older than 30 years old will only be subjected to just a contract.

The Real Madrid captain will be 34-year-old in March and he is keen on a two-year contract or nothing.Real Madrid board is not willing to break their policy and some of the board members believe that there is no reason to make an exception with the captain of the club.

The former Sevilla star wants a two deal at the club he signed for since the summer of 2005.
