Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba as the venue for Super Eagles next month’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
Gernot Rohr men have been zoned in Group L alongside Sierra Leone, Benin Republic and Lesotho in the race to earn a berth to Cameroon.NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said.
“We have finally settled for the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba for the qualifying match against Sierra Leone.
The match will be played on Friday, 27th March 2020.Super Eagles are currently top of the group with the maximum six points from their first two matches after beating Benin Republic 2-1 in Uyo and thrashed Lesotho 4-2 in Maseru.
The return leg could be held on Tuesday, March 31 at Freetown’s Siaka Stevens Stadium in Freetown.
