Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham sends a welcoming message to Hakim Ziyech after a £38m transfer fee reaches in principle for with Ajax.
The 26-year-old Morocco international has agreed for a stunning Stamford Bridge switch to take place this summer after scoring 21 goals and 24 assists as the Dutch club reached the Champions League semis last season.
According to De Telegraaf, Chelsea have verbally agreed on a €45millon (£38m) deal in principle to sign the Ajax playmaker Ziyech in the summer as Frank Lampard was desperate to overhaul the squad ahead of next season.
Ziyech also helped Ajax win the Eredivisie title and the KNVB Cup as the midfielder also claimed the club’s Player of the Year award, after netting 21 goals and 24 assists in 49 games.
And the Blues’ current No 9 Abraham has taken to social media to deliver his verdict on the deal by liking a post on Instagram and player will become the Europa League holders first signing after transfer ban.
Ziyech has continued his brilliant form with eight goals and 21 assists in the current campaign.
